Originating from the same region as trials legend Dougie Lampkin, James has always had a clear goal to follow in the tyre tracks of his Yorkshire compatriot ever since he clinched his initial domestic championship back in the early nineties as a youth rider on a Yamaha TY80. With a total of five schoolboy British titles and a third place in the kid’s Euro series to his name, Dabill made the transition to adult ranks with limited resistance to his progress. This was reinforced with James taking the World Junior crown in 2005 followed by the European World title in 2006.

In 2009, Dibs won the British championship by dominating most of the events. Hopefully he can repeat this great result in 2010 when he again embarks on the John Shirt UK Gas Gas Pro. He will compete in the entire FIM indoor and outdoor trials World championship, the British outdoor series, the Scottish Six Days Trial, plus other selected events...
